Annual Meeting

Save the date! 

The 69^th annual meeting will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday, April 29, 2019, at the Artist Collective, 1200 Albany Avenue, Hartford. A light dinner will be served following the meeting. Doors open at 5:00 pm.

The Nominating Committee is accepting written notification to be nominated for the available board of director’s positions. There are four (4) board of director positions available. There are three (3) board members seeking reelection: Rich Couture, Jean Holloway, and Joe Quinn. Please submit resume and qualifications to the credit union, Attn: nominating committee, no later than February 6, 2019.

The Artists Collective is a cultural institution serving the Greater Hartford region, providing year-round professional training in dance, music, drama, visual and martial arts emphasizing the arts and culture of the African Diaspora.

The Collective is unique in that its programs represent a non-traditional approach to art education because they also include social skills training, school success and community responsibility. Individual and group workshops expose children to positive role models, stimulating youth to think critically and develop self-esteem, self-awareness, and pride in one’s cultural identity.
